I love discovering more about the world through making meaningful connections with people, preferably over a plate of food. I worked as a chef for over a decade, promoting local, seasonal cooking and now spend my time writing about the food and hospitality industries in Australia.
Since 2020 I’ve been on a journey to understand more about food in Australia by learning from women working across the food and beverage industries. It’s a project I’ve been calling my Chefs Gap Year, and I’m currently writing a book about the whole experience. This debut book will be published by Monash University Publishing in 2026.
My writing focusses on food and the hospitality industry as well as personal essays and long form non-fiction. I am a regular staff contributor for Region Media.
