 Not only does the food taste better when it's fresh and seasonal, but it's also a good reminder to slow down and appreciate the good things that grow in the place you live. They say home is where the heart is, but I reckon stomach is more accurate for me.

Week two of Korea off to a cracking start.
I farewelled my LVC comrades and headed south to Busan where regrets were had at the fish market (I do not recommend the sea cucumber and, frankly, I prefer my lunch not to wiggle at me!
Now on beautiful Jej
Week one of Korea has flown by! I’ve seen temples, palaces and museums, and eaten SO MANY amazing meals! 
And, most importantly I’ve been spending time learning from some INCREDIBLE women peasants from all over Asia at @la_via_campesina_o
Trying out some fun homemade sodas. Rhubarb, beetroot and ginger on soda with lime. Pretty in pink and pretty damn good.
We did it gang! 2 out of 3 womboks are kimchi. Thank you all for believing in me
announce the purchase of three (yes THREE) outrageously large womboks. Should I have checked how bug they were before ordering? Probably. Should I have checked whether I would already have one in my produce box before ordering more? Absolutely!

I sowed my brassicas and salad greens very thickly because the seeds were old, but it turns out I needn’t have been concerned about the germination rates πŸ˜‚ microgreen salad for me!
